My neglect for this website has reached new heights! Life is great. Check back in May when I graduate and travel as I will have more interesting things to post. Currently my top idea is to backpack India and Nepal for the 3 months I have but don’t quote me on that.
Obama delivered his first presidential miracle on inauguration day. It snowed and we had no school for a day here in Raleigh! Incredible!
I had the pleasure of taking a trip to Washington DC this weekend. My primary purpose was to visit friends, specifically Sam & Kyle, but inauguration weekend was pretty phenomenal. The spirit of change is alive in DC and people seemed extremely optimistic. Got to take part in the crazy concert that had a ridiculous number of celebrities and, most importantly, got to see Obama talk for a few minutes. Now he’s our president! Huzzah!
I also had the pleasure of seeing an amazing group of relatives and hope to see more of them in the near future.
Here are some older pictures:

I’m happy you got the chance to see DC at its best! It had to be amazing really. I’m sure the atmosphere and attitudes of the people were great!
and Obama can bring change! He already showed us he can do anything by making it snow! That was a fantastic day, babe. Nice snow ball fight. I hope there are many more with you! and you’re pictures are great, as usual =] Walking down the snowy trail was amazing. That was a first for me. I loveeeee you! I can’t wait to read many more posts! keep this updated!…you’ll have to teach me how to make my own. I like this website…and now I’d like one.
Why don’t you consider traveling to Croatia and its neighboring countries? Check it out!
You have a friend there, Zed (remember him?) who would be more than happy to show you around. I have his e-mail.
Thanks for posting. Certainly looks like you guys deserved the day off of school. I am jealous about your DC trip and getting to see the Franks-Randall crew.
