Mars Volta was… incredible. I can’t even believe for a second of my life I was considering not going to that concert. I’m working on writing something longer about it that I’ll post soon (tomorrow hopefully).
The past few days have been pretty typical in a really awesome Tokyo kind of way. Yesterday was going to a traditional Japanese temple sort of thing (Asakusa) with Christina, Adam, and Ryota who I met at the photography club here. Afterwards was cheap bar night plus Karaoke with more friends which is always a great time. Today was beautiful park day and then a somewhat more special Thanksgiving pasta/meat/garlic bread dinner that we made. Ok, by “we,” I mean Christina knows how to make a ridiculously tasty pasta and I can put meat into a pan and not let it burn. And yeah, it’s probably not the first think you think of for Thanksgiving but it was delicious none the less. We did sit in a circle and say the things we were thankful for, though. Happy thanksgiving everybody!
