I am now officially a college graduate! Yeyyyy! I now have a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Computer Science from NCSU. Here are a couple pictures from graduation:
Tomorrow I will be headed to India/Nepal with my roommate Chris. We are flying into Mumbai and will be abroad until August 3rd, about 80 days. It’s going to be hotttttt so I had my Mom cut all my hair off (she’s a pro). I will post pictures and stories of what we are up to as often as is feasible so check it out and leave me some love (comments) so that I don’t get lonely across the world.
Here’s a frequently asked question I would like to address:
Why (the hell) are you going to India/Nepal?
Europe and Southeast Asia are off the list because I’ve already been there. Japan is off the list for being too expensive. New Zealand is off the list because if I went there I would want to do so many things (skydiving, bungee jumping, zorbing, snowboarding) it would also become expensive. Biking around Iceland was the next closest thing that I was considering but that would have been over with after a month and I would have continued into Scandinavia for the remainder of my trip but that too seems expensive compared with traveling around India. Travelling around Southeast Asia I heard great accounts of people who had been through India claiming it was an incredible place that shouldn’t be missed and I have been persuaded ever since. Nepal sounds incredible as well and has 8 of the 10 tallest mountain peaks in the world! We aren’t going to have the best of timing as it’s going to be raining a lot this Summer for our trip but this seems like a great opportunity to see a region of the world I have wanted to for a while now.
Anyways, the next post will be from India. See you soon!

I can’t wait to read the next post!!
I know I’m a little behind, but I just wanted to let you know how jealous I am that you got to graduate in a classroom and not a church…
