Last Wednesday I went with Yun and Kayano to explore some of the last of the beautiful fall colors here. The place we went to, the name of which I have no idea, was completely ridiculous. Beautiful and bright colored leaves all around, including one really long hallway of trees that had just left a yellow carpet of leaves for us to gawk at. I could have spent a week going through this place but we only had a day.
Afterwards we met up with Matthew and went to Karaoke which was actually the first time I’ve been where nobody was drinking anything. Surprisingly enough fully sober it was still a lot of fun. Matthew singing disney songs, me singing Beastie Boys, and Yun and Kayano singing this absurrrrrdly fast Japanese song that made “Intergalatic” look like nothing. Afterwards we went to a yakiniku restaurant where you have a little grill built into the middle of the table where you cook the meat they serve you on it. mmmmm, nom nom nom!
It was another fantastic day in Tokyo, thanks Yun and Kayano for showing me around and putting up with my poor Japanese!
