Leaches seem pretty tame compared to a 500 foot bungee jump off a suspension bridge. I am hoping that Davy is actually in a Holiday Inn in Maui, writing some real creative fiction.

Or at least exagerating somewhat in a few instances. Spider bites in the night? Guides who can’t issue safety instructions? Is this real life or a movie?

I mean, really, the video of the bungee jump is no proof Davy actually did this, is it? The invention of the leech is just to make it more exotic sounding. Right?
Clearly, those elephant photos have been photoshopped so they don’t look like the Kansas City Zoo elephants!

There is a steep path on the side of the valley to get back up to the bridge. Actually, it started raining during the jumping so when I walked up the trail I picked up a leech that snuck in between my toes and surprised me later when I saw blood on my foot.

o….my….goodness. I would have pee’d myself. I can’t stand the drop zone rides. There’s no way I would have gathered the courage to do that jump on my own. you are much more brave than I ever took you for. =] well, i’m EXTREMELY happy you’re alive. and i’m also happy that you enjoyed Nepal. AND i’m also happy that you’re able to fly back to India instead of taking a couple long and exhausting train rides. 32 days left until we get to see you again! I can’t wait! Much love muah!

OK, so now I have seen the video. All I can say is,
“Oh, no you ditn’t!” That is crazy. I simply can’t believe that you actually did that jump. And lived to write about it.

If so, exactly how did you get back up to the bridge. The bridge itself is too scary for us old farts. Not to mention the platform where jumpers jump from, with no railing. Eeek!
No, eeek is too mild. Yeeeeooowwww!
